Legal Manager Asia Pacific

Introduction:
My client is a sizable freight forwarding company location Tsuen Wan and thy are looking for a LEGAL MANAGER Asia Pacific
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparation, drafting and review of logistics transport contracts, company secretarial duties, coordination of compliance, support of insurance and claims activity in relating to various areas of law, especially transport and logistics law.
- Part of the APAC legal team, this position focus on the preparation, creation and review of logistics transport contracts, coordination of compliance / data protection, support of claim activity in relating to various areas of law, especially in the area of transport and logistics law and corporate legal activates
- Provide full spectrum of legal support on the logistics & supply chain business
- Support regional team and countries on logistics transport contract management
- Provide support on corporate compliance and Insurance claims administration
- Communication with external legal counsel when required
- Support the corporate legal team with internal training measures on various legal topics
- Act as a competent contact person for possible legal problems for cross-departmental project
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
- 3-5 years solid legal experience in Logistics industry is a must; with good skills in contract drafting and review
- Specializing in maritime law and sound knowledge in civil and common law jurisdiction would be an advantage
- Knowledge of NVOCC's operation and its duties and liabilities is an advantage
- Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written)
- Good computer knowledge of MS Office, esp. PowerPoint and Word.
