Introduction:

Reporting to Senior Manager, Business Banking Acquisition, you are expected to explore new business opportunities in SME segment to generate lending businesses and revenues for the Bank.

Responsibilities:

1. Work towards KPI target by acquiring new SME account and CASA deposit balance.
2. Build and manage sales pipeline effectively by generating new leads from own network and working closely with branches to identify SME loan opportunities.
3. Conduct need assessment to map suitable financial products/service to meet customers needs and identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities for SME and Retail Banking Business.
4. Follow through the whole loan application process, from application submission to loan drawdown.
5. Ensure KYC/CDD compliance for all new to bank and existing customers and exercise risk assessment for new customers by following all necessary procedure of KYC.
6. Prepare credit proposal and conduct regular review to ensure credit quality by following the Banks policy and procedures.
7. Comply with customer data protection, regulatory conduct, compliance requirements and practices as defined by internal and external requirements.
8. Achieve and maintain excellent service quality to SME Business Banking customer and handle customer enquiries in a professional way to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements:

1. University degree in business Management/ Finance/ Related disciplines preferred.
2. Minimum 2 years experience in business banking, relevant experience in commercial lending or SME lending advantageous.
3. Sound knowledge in commercial credit, product and services with strong compliance mindset.
4. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
5. Self-motivated, resilience, customer-centric, with good teamwork spirit.
6. Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.
7. Relevant insurance licensing (IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3) advantageous.
