I currently am working on a confidential Head of Operations role. This role requires a candidate with operations and parcel processing experience as well as experience in the end-to-end carrier industry. The individual must understand outbound delivery solutions, returns solutions and any industry related innovations. The role will require the candidate to closely manage the suppliers, carriers and partners, to create and define new relationships and to continuously develop best in class delivery and returns propositions and processes.

  • Manage relationships with our 3PL partners, suppliers  and carriers to ensure customer expectations exceeded      
  • Continuously enhancing the delivery propositions  and   lead the implementation across Asia
  • Lead and drive day to day ground and air operations ensuring all service levels are achieved
  • Look to develop our network of partner carriers to achieve faster and wider choice of deliveries and returns for our customers   
  • Delivery Solutions Reporting   
  • Pro-active SLA and KPI monitoring and management with autonomous approach      
  • Liaise with internal teams delivering solutions to external customers    
  • Responsibility with assisting the budget preparation alongside the COO  
  • Financial Management - managing 3PL, suppliers and carriers to ensure they deliver within contractual parameters
  • Owning and conducting regular supplier/carrier reviews, managing performance alongside looking to identify opportunities
  • Peak/holiday and seasonal planning to ensure minimal service and financial disruption
  • Constantly  providing enhanced delivery propositions for the customers
  • Able to identify cost related risk and where necessary implement corrective action

Branch Manager

The role is based in the Hong Kong office, is to have ultimate responsibility for the operations, customer service and sales development of the Hong Kong business. Working closely with the Airfreight & Seafreight Supervisors and operations team to ensure clients and agents receive the very best customer service in the market. To develop a culture of sales and development locally and internationally.

  • Overall Purpose of this role is to ensure the Hong Kong office meets and exceeds its yearly budget.
  • Managing and developing the team.
  • Develop sales in both Hong Kong and Southern China
  • To ensure clients and agents receive excellent customer service and the team comply to Import/Export operational procedures and in-line with company policy.
  • Dealing with airlines, co-loaders, overseas agents and shipping line to make sure that we are buying the right service and rate.
  • To manage and oversee every facet of the accounting department, including Invoicing/Job Costing ensuring this is finalized by the month end deadline.
  • To complete monthly management reports.
  • A respect towards the office Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Ultimate responsibility for Hong Kong office while ensuring all local laws are complied with.
