Introduction:

Our client is looking for IT Assistant Managers to join their team in HK.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, manage timelines, handle change requests, and perform project risk analysis.
2. Lead and control project risk management activities and support ad hoc IT initiatives.
3. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of programmers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
4. Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of logistics systems supporting warehouse management, transportation, and supply chain operations.
5. Support EDI environments, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and issue resolution.
6. Work closely with regional and global teams to align IT initiatives with business objectives and international standards.
7. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document results, and provide system demonstrations.
8. Ensure system stability, security, scalability, data protection, and disaster recovery readiness.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
2. PMP, PMI-ACP, Agile, or related project management certification preferred.
3. Experience in 3PL logistics, supply chain systems, or EDI implementations.
4. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with EDI, XML, and API technologies.
5. Strong knowledge of software development and IT infrastructure.
6. Familiarity with IT security frameworks and best practices.
7. Experience in logistics, supply chain, 3PL, or FMCG environments is an advantage.
8. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
9. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
10. Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
