Colocation Officer

Introduction:

Our client is a leading IT Solution provider looking for Colocation Officer's to join their team :

Responsibilities:

• Delivery and procurement arrangement
• Store room management
• Local and oversea shipment arrangement
• Local smart hand support for both server build and network tech refresh on different local DCs Daily operations monitoring (included the network utilization, system alerts, power usage etc) Handle RMA process
• Coordinate schedules and work tasks with other external vendors and internal regional teams Change / Incident / Service ticket Management
• Site access arrangement for local staff and external vendor
• Inventory and Rack layout updates
• Update the centralize the document for team on share web portal
• Holiday and weekend support are required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in data center and smart hand support services related experience
• Holder of vendor certification are preferable (CCNA, RHCSA)
• Work independently in a highly dynamic environment, both individually and as a team
• ability to work under pressure


Competencies (Technical / Behavioral)

• Experienced in system administration in Linux
• Familiar with x86 hardware, server networking peripherals, and data center setup
• Base knowledge of scripting language (Bash, Python, Perl) and system tools to quickly formulate solutions
• Base with technical troubleshooting, system recovery, root cause analysis and remediation which involves coordination of vendors and remote technical staffs
• Good IT aptitude that comply with ITIL framework (Incident Management, Change Management)
• Excellent time management skills
