Introduction:

Our client, a European pharmaceutical company specializing in dermo cosmetics, rheumatology, dermatology, and the marketing of active cosmetic ingredients with international presence, is now looking for a high calibre for the position of Marketing and Training Manager, APAC joining its regional team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

Purpose of the role:

1. The job holder is responsible for managing the medical marketing and training activities within the framework in line with the regional goals, values and principles by creating the strategies of the products, adapting them to the relevant target audience (internal and external field sales team, health care personnel, consumer etc.)

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare the training strategy and materials for products (product messages, presentations, brochures and frequently asked questions) in accordance with the target audience (internal and external field team, HCP, consumer).
2. Follow up-to-date information about products, medical trends and competitors, to provide scientific and medical expertise
3. Contribute to the successful launch of new products and indications
4. Provide trainings for the product and competitor product information in the needs of field teams
5. Coordinate and conduct the trainings about the company, researches, products and sales force when needed
6. Plan and develop medical marketing activities and collaborations
7. Establish and maintain the relationship with medical key opinion leaders in APAC
8. Present in the occasions of doctors, pharmacists and other HCPs such as seminar
9. Work with the counterparty in distributors to develop and execute local medical marketing plan
10. Organize and participate medical congresses
11. Prepare, monitor and report the medical marketing budget
12. Report the training participation results
13. Visit the local HCP markets in line with the regional strategy
14. Ensure continuous improvement and respect for procedures particularly in terms of Quality and CSR.
15. Manage internal and external projects related to medical marketing and training
16. Support regional projects like annual seminar with medical marketing or product training / introduction sessions
17. Be the contact person of field team and distributors when they have scientific questions and provide professional advice.

Requirements:

1. Min 5 years experience in medical marketing or training in pharmaceutical, dermocosmetic, medical or FMCG industry
2. A strong scientific background, such as a degree in biology, chemistry, or a medical-related field
3. BS/BA degree in a related discipline, Master is a plus
4. Business fluent English and at least one Asian language, 2 will be a plus
5. Knowledge of the healthcare industry and industry trends
6. Strong understanding of medical and pharmaceutical products, procedures, and regulations in APAC.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex scientific information into understandable marketing materials.
8. Field sales experience or knowledge is a plus
9. Performance and data analysis capability
