Introduction:

A US-based multinational logistics company is currently looking for an Operations Manager for their Shanghai office.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and monitor sea, air, and rail shipments to and from China.
2. Supervise and train staff (currently two operations employees and one accounting employee) to ensure operational efficiency.
3. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and industry standards.
4. Maintain strong relationships with local clients, vendors, and carriers.
5. Oversee shipment tracking and resolve any issues or delays during transit.
6. Analyze and review logistics processes to optimize routes and reduce costs.
7. Address customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
8. Act as a liaison between PWHKG, PWSHA, and the accounting company.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in freight forwarding or a related industry.
2. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
