Market Research Manager (Commodities: Metals, Manganese)
Introduction:
Our client, a Hong Kong based multi-national company specializing in mineral resources businesses from ores to alloys is looking for a high caliber candidate to fulfill the above-mentioned position. Details are as followings:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct researches in Manganese Ferroalloys & Ore industry and Steel industry and prepare monthly & annual reports on market supply and demand, market trend of costs & sales prices of the products;
- Conduct competitors’ researches, including the costs of production, upcoming development and activities;
- Keep abreast of macroeconomics development and project its impact to the Steel & Manganese industry;
- Provide recommendations to Top Management in formulating marketing and strategic development plans.

Requirements:
- Degree holder in Statistics, Business Management, Economics or other related disciplines;
- Fluent spoken & written English;
- 6 years of research analysis experience in commodities (Metals, Manganese, etc.), Steel, Ferro Alloys or related industry;
- Experience from CRU, FM, Platts will be an advantage;
- Highly sensitive to figures and with strong analytical skills;
- Well versed in Microsoft Office, specifically for Excel & PowerPoint;
- Overseas business travel may be required.
