Introduction:

Our client is now looking for a Junior Lawyer stationed in Bangkok to provide legal support for an international law firm. This role involves conducting research, drafting legal documents and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals starting their legal careers to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Legal Research: Conduct thorough research on legal issues, precedents, and statutes to support case preparation and decision-making.
• Drafting and Documentation: Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents, including contracts, agreements, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Case Management: Assist in managing case files, organizing evidence, and maintaining accurate records for ongoing legal matters.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather information, explain legal issues, and provide updates on case progress.
• Court Proceedings: Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations to observe, take notes, or represent clients under supervision.
• Compliance and Advisory: Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations and provide general legal advice to internal teams.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist in scheduling meetings, maintaining legal calendars, and coordinating with external legal counsel or stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal role (internship experience is acceptable for recent graduates).
