Introduction:

My client, a leading NVOCC company in Hong Kong which is specialized in providing sea-freight consolidation services, they are looking for a Solution Analyst to join their IT team.

Responsibilities:

• Work with teams on system framework design and assist in system architecture and interface planning
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical requirements for systems and applications development 
• Participate in the whole Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including testing, integration and deployment
• Ensure solutions are aligned with the system functions, architecture and roadmap, group standards and policies
• Advise on technical solution including application, architecture and interfaces for remote development team
• Design, install and configure database architecture for internal and external users with high availability and high security
• Set and maintain database security, performance, policies and standard
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database incidents and provide technical solution 
• Design, manage and test database backup and recovery
• Engage with remote development team to maintain system knowledge and work on the areas for future development
• Create and maintain functional and system specifications, procedures and operational instructions and other documents related to systems
• Liaise with current development vendor to work on the new application features and functions
