Introduction:

Responsible for conducting studies that closely monitor the economic conditions, the politics and economic policy changes in Developed countries and EM Asia;

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for conducting studies that closely monitor the economic conditions, the politics and economic policy changes in Developed countries and EM Asia;
2. Formulate trend perspectives of the key related market movements (Rates/FX) based on the fundamental and technical analysis;
3. Communicate the economic views with the internal investment teams;
4. Draft both thematic reports and short notes on economic and market observations;    
5. Participate in internal and external research projects on Asia region, especially on China;
6. Draft investment comprehensive reports and corporate development strategy reports;
7. Ad hoc assignment by supervisor.

Requirements:

1. Master or above degree in Economics or related discipline(s); PhD is preferred;
2. Experience worked and trained in a governmental, financial or academic institution;
3. Deep understanding of economic fundamentals and policy framework as well as their impacts on financial markets; 
4. Good writing and communication skills in Chinese and English;
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills;
6. Candidates currently based in Hong Kong or China is preferable.
