Manager - Marine Agency (station in TAIWAN)
Introduction:
My client, an International Integrated Marine Service Provider, they are currently seeking candidates with high caliber for the position of Manager to join our offices in Taipei:-
Responsibilities:
- Managing the operations department ensuring operational efficiency is achieved
- Managing the operational and commercial activities in Taiwan
- Liaising with other departments/managers on commercial/operational matters
- Communications with local and international customers and vendors
- Actively search for new business & customers to contribute to the local development of Taiwan
- Manage Customer Service/Documentation in resolving unexpected problems on Documentation/Customer Service Matters
- Handling vessel related enquires and to lead a local marine operation team
- Supporting and training new/junior staff and to grow its level of competency
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above
- Minimum 5 year relevant experience in similar field
- Familiar with Marine Operations, Agency operation. Those with Seagoing and/or Technical background an added advantage
- Offshore agency experience will be an advantage
- Strong communication, sales and presentation skills
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin both written and verbal
- Ability to multitasking and prioritize
- Must be team oriented and results focused
