Introduction:

Our client, a Japanese food wholesaler company in Hong Kong, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Proficient in negotiating pricing strategies (between the 3 counterparts)
• Skilled in profit maximization techniques
• Excellent communication skills for bargaining with the 3 counterparts individually
• Background in import/export operations and foreign exchange management is required
• Preference for candidates with international business experience, instead of domestic ones
• Prior export experience in the manufacturing business is preferred

Requirements:

• Fluent in both Japanese and English languages
• Proficiency in Japanese to communicate with Japanese suppliers
• Demonstrated managing experience in teams of at least 3 to 5 individuals
• Experience under a Japan supervisor in an overseas office of a Japan company and effective guidance of local staff is highly desirable
