A leading provider of embedded control applications has a new headcount for Human Resources Manager for driving the harmonization and integration processes between various sites within Asia Pacific whilst providing support in the area of global mobility related to expatriates, global immigration, compliance, and global relocations to cope with the growing business.
· Lead knowledge transfer of HR best practices and continuous improvement projects within Asia Pacific
· Monitor and manage departmental practices to ensure compliance with local labor laws, corporate social responsibility principles and the company group policies and procedures.
· Partner with operations leaders and local HR teams to develop and implement HR plans to drive employee development and continued company growth.
· Collaborate with external immigration consultant to research global immigration inquiries and engage in global immigration opportunities to understand risk and maintain compliance standards.
· Process all visa petitions and international work permits and liaise with immigration counsel, employees and partners to develop, implement and communicate immigration filing strategies for individual cases.
· Build and communicate relocation packages with expatriate employees and coordinate with external relocation service providers, where appropriate, to ensure outstanding service and seamless relocation of employees and partners.
· Support on providing training and counseling on the performance management process
· Bachelor’s degree or above with 8 years or above of experience
· Nice to have experience gained in high technology/manufacturing company and 3+ years of experience with corporate business immigration and/or global mobility
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and any other languages; project management and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
