Introduction:

Our client, a chemical distributor (US based) is looking for a high caliber candidate to fulfill the above-mentioned position. Details are as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all product data: supplier contacts, transit time, lead time
• Provides Forecast to Supplier
• Tracks Purchase Orders/shipment ETAs
• Planning all daily and weekly execution
• Escalation of reoccurring issues for resolutions
Understand manufacturing and market forces
• Support organizational goals and objectives
• Analyzing Inventory Control


Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or greater, Finance or Accounting is preferred
• 3 to 5 years of working experience in a supply chain analyst or materials planning role 
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving capabilities, good communication, interpersonal, organizational skills
• Strong excel skills including VLookup and Pivot tables
• Training: Will be provided Excel & in-house computer system training as needed
