Introduction:

Our client is a global IT Service provider looking for a DBA to join their team:

Responsibilities:

6-10 years of relevant experience in the area of Database administration
Oracle 12c,11g, and 19c administration
Expertise in Exadata
Expertise in Golden Gate replication
Real application Testing (Oracle RAT)
6+ plus years performing Oracle 12c,11g, and 19c administration
Expertise in Exadata, Rapid Application Testing (RAT), Performance tuning, scripting and automation
Expertise in Golden Gate replication on Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
Significant background in solving complex technology challenges
A solid background working in large-scale software projects
Knowledge and expertise in cloud, and hybrid cloud technology would be a real plus

Requirements:

The Skills that are Key to this role

Work with Application Development and Performance Teams on Tuning Database part during the Design to Deployment phases in the areas of Oracle SQL and PLSQL, RAC & Golden gate
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Oracle RAC, Oracle Performance & Tuning and SQL Tuning
Experience working with the Application support functions team on database related activities with in-depth knowledge of database environments
Qualified applicant should have 5+ years of Oracle Database Support, Design, Performance & Tuning experience working in a complex, multi-platform environment and should have done production support
Traditional Database Technologies – Oracle, RAC, Exadata, Goldengate.
Expertise analyzing, troubleshooting and performance tuning in Exadata, RAC databases and sql queries
Expertise with Oracle Golden Gate, database replication and data movement strategies & tools
Performing design evaluations/ recommendations for database migration strategies to the cloud
Advanced communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to operationalize solutions and ideas into standard operating procedures (SOP)
Migration of databases using various ways like building a COB and import/export.
Implemented Golden gate to replicate data and keeping databases in sync until the time of cutover.
Implemented classic Golden gate replication as well as integrated replication.
Tested and Implemented different physical and logical Backup and Recovery methods like point in time, Media recovery, Full/partial export/import.
Perform User Management, creation, monitoring and management of database users, altering passwords of users and granting and revoking system/object privileges, roles, auditing user actions in the database.
Creating and Managing stored procedures and triggers, distributed data, server tuning, automation of administrative tasks, database.
Configure GoldenGate Downstream Mining and Integrated components for Active-Active replication.
Configure GoldenGate High Availability using Oracle DBFS and Active DataGuard.
Configure GoldenGate Studio or Integrate with Oracle Enterprise Manager 12/13c.
Conflict Detection and Resolution in Active-Active Replication Environments Using Oracle GoldenGate.
Perform Schema level and Table level data refreshes from Production to Non-Production environments using Data pump EXPDP/IMPDP.
