A Global Technology Services client is looking for a SAP Retail Back Office Lead to join their team in Hong Kong :


  • Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP FMS Deployment in Asia Pacific Region
  • Work closely with Point of Sale (POS), external logistics system, e-commerce system, other retail applications and different teams during design and implementation of SAP Retail functionalities to support Retail Business
  • Work with 3rd party external vendor, monitor, coordinate different project activities and align with master project plan
  • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements and mapping global template as well as identify issues and work around solutions
  • Driving and support the functional and technical gap analysis
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document user requirements
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
  • Drive and support data conversion from legacy system to SAP and coordinate with user on different data conversion activities
  • Support different testing activities including functional unit test, system integration testing and end-to-end scenarios testing
  • Provide key user training and end user support as required


  • Degree holder or above in Computer Science/ Information Systems/ Software Engineering or others related
  • At least 10 years of work experience in relevant retail business environments, implementing or using retail business processes and applications
  • Experience with SAP IS-Retail/FMS (in following areas: Planning, Retail Financial, Pricing, Value Added Service and Promotions or Supply Chain)
  • A consistent track record of successfully delivering projects on time, working with various internal and external teams
  • Deployed SAP retail project in the different APAC region is desirable
  • Experience in working with global and diverse team
  • Ability to support all stages of SAP Retail implementation project
  • Profound understanding of Retail business processes
  • Understanding of integration points with the SD, MM, and FI/CO modules
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
  • Must be result-oriented and demonstrate a can-do attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
  • Ability to provide recommendations with regards to future business and solution opportunities
