Senior Procurement Manager

Introduction:
Our client, one of sizeable Non-government organization, is now looking for a high calibre for the position of Senior Procurement Manager to join its Hong Kong Office.
Responsibilities:
- Support Director of Procurement in leading the Central Procurement Department as the centre of excellence to implement central procurement strategies and programmes that improve the organisational value and efficiency.
- Initiate opportunities to enhance the current procurement process, including supplier registration, tendering procedures, supplier performance management, and data analytics, to improve procurement performance and efficiency.
- Support the enhancement of the current e-Procurement system and the procure-to-pay process.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Oversee and lead procurement activities throughout the procurement process, including procurement approach, business requirements, vendor specifications, evaluation criteria, negotiation, and contract preparation.
- Work with internal stakeholders to enhance and monitor supplier performance, building a robust supplier network.
- Conduct regular training sessions for internal stakeholders on procurement matters, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with established procurement policies, develop and enhance policies that are focused on value creation and improving efficiency according to business needs with sacrificing control.
Requirements:
- University graduate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Business Administration or related discipline. Holding a CIPS or similar professional qualification will be an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in sizable organisations with over 5 years at supervisory level.
- Solid experience of category management in marketing and branding and/or IT services.
- Proficient in SAP Ariba e-Procurement system with a strong sense of procurement compliance.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Highly self-initiatives, problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
- Experience in public organisation would be an advantage.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
