Purpose: To drive sustainable and profitable market share growth within the Wholesale and Franchise channels, while leading the implementation of selected global and local strategic initiatives, to achieve the top and bottom-line objectives of the South East Asia (SEA) Wholesale and Franchise channels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Performance
a) Develop franchising and wholesale strategy and business plan in alignment with overall corporate strategy and annual budget
b) Achieve sales targets and other key performance indicators for the franchising and wholesale businesses
c) Proactively monitor, develop and recalibrate action plans as necessary to capitalize on market opportunities and changes, and mitigate risks.
2. New Business Development For Franchising and Wholesale Business
a) Proactively identify new markets and customers, prospect for new business leads and develop a network of business contacts as a platform for future opportunities
b) Establish and ensure adherence to sound internal processes from the initiation of business contact to the establishment of the franchise / wholesale account, execution of legal agreements in accordance with companys policy and through to conclusion of business deals, with timely and proper monitoring at key milestones.
c) Ensure that agreements with companys brand are properly established and renegotiated as necessary.
3. Business Partnering & Relationship Management
a) Be the first point of contact for relationship management with franchisees and wholesale business partners
b) Establish the seasonal buying plan with a strong understanding of customer needs and sales targets
c) Take the lead in advising and supporting franchisees in meeting their franchise obligations, including but not limited to annual business performance, purchase commitments, compliance with company branding, visual merchandising and marketing guidelines under the franchising agreements
d) Take the initiative in regularly reviewing our product offering with Merchandising and franchisee stock position to capitalize on sell-in and stock replenishment opportunities
e) Ensure logistical and finance related arrangements are in place and monitored regularly for proactive action
f) Establish and maintain fruitful business relationships with business partners, prospects and stakeholders g) Evaluate the competitive landscape and propose appropriate solutions to any opportunities or threats as identified
h) Ensure compliance with companys group and local company policies and operating processes and the companys code of ethics in the conduct of work.
Minimum 5-8 years relevant working experience
b) Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners based on overseas
c) Ability to collaborate, manage and influence stakeholders across different functions and geographies (preferably within a matrix organization) to make fact-based decisions
d) Experience growing a franchise business within Asia specifically Vietnam & Philippines
e) A highly motivated and independent individual that works well within a team structure
f) Experience having worked in a fast paced, multi-channel, retail environment
g) Excellent analytical and numerical skill
h) Commercial sales background
Working hours 9-6pm - 5 days work week
Exp in franchise retail
Reporting to the Head of Franchise Exp in SEA markets like Philippines, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Vietnam etc
Good in coordination, communication & must be collaborative
Must have good communication & nego skills
Must be able to travel
Able to travel almost every quarterly (3-7 days)
