Introduction:

Report To: Group Graphics Senior Manager Location: Bahrain (relocation assistance available) Overview: Lead helmet decal design for a world-class motorsport brand. Precision, speed, and technical expertise are required. About the Role Join a world leader in high-performance motorsports safety gear, supporting the helmet division in delivering precise, production-ready decal graphics for the worlds top racing teams and riders. This is not a fashion design role its a hands-on, technically demanding position where exact alignment, production compatibility, and execution speed are critical.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute high-precision helmet decal designs, ensuring alignment with safety standards and manufacturing constraints

Translate sponsor branding and team identity into technically feasible decal layouts

Prepare production-ready files for print and application (CMYK and Screen printing colour separation process

Collaborate with R&D, helmet product engineers, and external teams to ensure graphics integrate seamlessly with shell forms and ventilation structures

Manage project timelines to meet rapid turnaround demands, particularly in race seasons

Maintain a library of design templates and decal fit guides across helmet models

Provide technical input on decal materials, finishes, and new applications

Requirements:

Proven experience developing decals for helmets, vehicles, or performance gear

Strong understanding of helmet surfaces and the challenges of applying graphics to complex 3d forms

High-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with vector-based templates is essential

Experience working with plotters, screen printing, or digital wrap printing

Background in motorsports, motorcycle gear, or automotive design is strongly preferred

Meticulous attention to detail; fast and accurate execution under time pressure
