Introduction:

This role will be responsible for driving growth and revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. This role will play a vital role in expanding its market presence.

Responsibilities:

1.  Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities to meet revenue objectives.
2. Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth in existing and new markets.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
4. Identify and establish partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and other potential referral sources to enhance the companys business pipeline.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement joint initiatives.
6. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
7. Use insights to recommend and develop innovative solutions to capture market opportunities.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective sales tools, presentations, and marketing materials.
9. Participate in product pitches, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
10. Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of insurance solutions.
11. Provide feedback and insights from clients to inform product development and service enhancements.
12. Regularly review key metrics and adjust strategies to achieve business targets.
13. Work closely with Business Development Director and Sales Consultants to meet the referral needs of our partners in Malaysia.
14. Interact with and build solid relationships with bankers and branch managers of our partners.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Knowledge of insurance products and the brokerage industry is highly preferred.
6. Banking Exp a Must
7. Willing to travel intensively within Malaysia
