Introduction:

Our Client is a regional investment holding company with interests mainly in real estate investment, real estate development and hospitality. They are seeking for a Senior Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a system of internal control over property assets, revenue & expenses.
• Oversee & monitor Finance operations mainly Income Audit, General Cashier, Account Payable, Account Receivables & General Ledger.
• Monitor and improve cash flow, productivity, revenue, and profitability trends.
• Develop key performance indicators and oversee financial performance for hospitality segment.
• Manage the annual budgeting process, including materials for Board meetings with narratives, business explanations, and financial forecasts.
• Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports for internal management, including detailed analytical review and variance analysis such as P&L Analysis, cost variance analysis and budget vs. actual performance analysis
• Build financial models for strategic scenario analysis, cost benefit calculation, project evaluation, investment appraisals, revenue projections.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to drive process improvements and cost efficiencies and/or put in control process required for hospitality setup

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience in Hospitality industry & 2 years Audit experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Property Management Systems (i.e. RMS) and Accounting System (i.e. Oracle, NetSuite, Cognos) are preferred
• Meticulous with good problem solving & analytical skills
• Strong grounds/operations experience in hotel previously & is ready to move up to do analysis work
