Introduction:

You are a member of the Global Finance team based in Singapore responsible for the full spectrum of the accounting function, reporting, regulatory and tax compliance for the Singapore, Labuan branches and any other operations in Asia as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, including payments, receipts, intercompany recharges, closing entries etc. and responsible for regulatory, statutory and management reporting

• Maintain multi-ledger reporting and perform reconciliation of regulatory and statutory reporting including IFRS17

• Maintain internal controls and participate in internal and external audits

• Facilitate the risk and solvency management process, in coordination with local Business Unit Heads and Head Office

• Keep abreast of tax developments in Singapore and Labuan and provide liaison for Head Office tax department and external tax agents and authorities

• Actively participate in the implementation of IFRS17 for Singapore and Labuan

• Participate in regional and international initiatives and projects

Requirements:

Your Profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accounting or related discipline

• Prior experience from the (re)insurance industry preferred

• Good knowledge of financial/accounting principles

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly for Singapore and/or Labuan important

• Audit experience is desirable

• Experience in SAP is preferred

• Experience with IFRS17 implementation is advantageous

• Good command of English, both written and spoken

• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

• Independent worker and good team player
