Introduction:

Our client, one of the leading FMCG companies in Hong Kong, is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to manage their team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of QA / QC and laboratory specialists 
• Responsible for the quality assurance function to ensure all incoming raw materials, WIP and finished products conform to technical specifications
• Conduct in-house audits of product quality and documentation and upgrade the quality system to meet HACCP, BRC, ISO and other standards and requirements consistently 
• Conduct online trouble-shooting activities, implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions on quality issues
• Consolidate analysis and report on quality related issues and initiate preventive measures and follow up actions for improvement of product quality 
• Recommend changes to improve the quality issues by evaluating production process 
• Liaise with vendors and conduct regular audits to ensure their products meet with the company’s quality standards 
• Provide guidance and training when appropriate
• Prepare monthly reports with commentary and participate in management projects

Requirements:

• Degree Holder in Food Science or other related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in food manufacturing industry
• Knowledge in food safety standard (i.e. HACCP / ISO / BRC)
• Knowledge of regulatory and labelling requirements of local and export markets
• Possesses good influencing skill and strong desire to achieve the best
• Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word & Chinese Word Processing
