Introduction:

A local sizable legal firm located at Central is urgently looking for a Legal Secretary for the Matrimonial Department.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with another secretary to provide full spectrum of secretarial and administrative support to the Department Head 

• Open and close matters

• Edit and format legal documents

• Prepare trial and hearing bundles

• Handle billings and invoices

• Maintain clients database

• Assist with timekeeping

Requirements:

• Formal secretarial training

• Secretarial work experience with law firms (matrimonial) preferred

• Experience in using Elite 3E time entry and billing system an advantage

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge in Putonghua an advantage

• High proficiency in Microsoft applications including Chinese word processing

• Personable, polite, responsible and meticulous

• Independent and proactive

• Detail-minded and well-organised

• Availability at short notice
