Introduction:

An pioneering HRBP role to help set up a new division in Asia

Responsibilities:

• Act as business partner and provide quality HR advisory services to the business unit (i.e. FMCG, Transportation, Warehouse Function) such as working with business managers on recruitment, organizational capability & translate business plans into strategic HR plans, determining resource plan, driving employee engagement and facilitate the talent development review
• Execute annual manpower budget and staff cost budget control
• Review and develop different compensation & benefits programs (i.e. annual merit, bonus, sales incentive scheme, salary benchmark, etc.) so as to maintain competitiveness and comply with legal requirement
• Review, develop and align HR recruitment and hiring procedures across the North Asia markets
• Ensure the legal compliance in employment area
• Maintain HR systems and employee data & personal-files, issue HR letters for employment related matters, on boarding and exit arrangements
• Prepare the business unit announcements
• Participate in the business unit activities and other ad hoc project as assigned     

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in human resources management, or any business discipline,
• At least 8 years proven HR experience, in which 3 years in managerial level position, preferably experience gained from FMCG or food industry
• Regional HR experience is preferred, familiar with local labour regulations across the North Asia markets, i.e. Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a range of strategic projects while maintaining a practical and hands-on approach
• A change agent, resilience and with positive mindset
• Strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills
• Analytical thinking with good numerical sense
• Strong business acumen with strategic mindset
• Sound PC skills and Chinese word processing
• Excellent command in both verbal and written English and Chinese
