Introduction:

Conduct fundamental research on Asian equities with a focus on the financial sector. Closely monitor macro, financial market, financial reform and other relevant trends in the region.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct fundamental research on Asian equities with a focus on the financial sector. Closely monitor macro, financial market, financial reform and other relevant trends in the region.
2. Actively communicate with companies and analysts to expand coverage and build opinion on the covered stocks. Closely monitor the industry trends for covered sectors/companies and participate in conferences and field trips.
3. Prepare industry reports, company updates, meeting memos and business trip reports.
4. Formulate earnings forecast and valuation judgment on assigned companies.
5. Assist in portfolio construction and proactively recommend stock ideas.
6. Assist equity team in various thematic research.

Requirements:

1. Passionate in investment, self-motivated and detail-oriented
2. A team player and fast-learner, reliable, responsible, flexible and able to work independently
3. Good communication and analytical skills
4. Graduate from top-tier university, Bachelor degree or above, accounting background/audit experience/ CFA preferred
5. Minimum 2-year relevant experience (covering financial sector), sell-side or buy-side preferred
6. Fluent in English and Chinese
