Introduction:

A sizable legal association is urgently seeking candidates for the position of Communications and External Affairs Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Support the communications and external affairs function of the association
• Assist in the organization of publicity, local events, and activities outside Hong Kong to promote Hong Kong’s legal services
• Enhance the corporate image of the association
• Assist in preparing papers for committee meetings, drafting executive speeches, coordinating the production of promotional materials, news-monitoring, as well as providing support for media activities

Requirements:

• A degree holder with 2 to 3 years of experience in similar capacity
• A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including proficiency in Putonghua
• Independent, strong communication skills, and able to multi-task and work under pressure
• Good computer skills, including MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
• Travelling may be required
• Experience in event management will be an advantage
• Knowledge in using video conferencing platforms, Photoshop and other graphic design software will be an advantage
• Immediate availability is preferable
