Assistant Logistic Manager (steel materials), good benefits
Introduction:
Our client, a well-established manufacturing of Base Metal Materials (MNC) is looking for a high caliber candidate to fulfill the above-mentioned position. Details are as followings:
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Sales Account Manager with regards to contract execution and pricing status of the contracts
- Setting-up and maintaining a planned shipments calendar
- Communication with customers for payment and delivery
- Monitoring/reconciliation stock positions
- Monitoring/reconciliation timely receipt of funds
- Receiving and checking L/C documents
- Ad hoc assignments
Requirements:
- Diploma or above
- Fluent spoken written English, Mandarin and Chinese (Cantonese)
- 8-10 years of logistics and shipping experience and min 5 years of relevant experience in steel materials field, e.g. copper, nickel, etc.
- Good knowledge of L/C payments & Bank documents
- Experience in using SAP system; good Excel skills
- Detail-minded, responsible and a good team player
