Introduction:

To accelerate the development of its 5-year Strategic Plan, the job holder is expected to be a strong business driven individual to set-up and roll-out the local initiatives in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan & Philippines. The ideal candidate will display a very entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for business development. He / She will not be afraid of challenges and always think outside of the box in order to position our brand as one of the Top 5 locally. 

Responsibilities:

Strategic Development

     Define the national distribution strategy per product category in order to maximize ROI and compete with local leading manufacturers

     Set-up and manage a local warehouse if necessary / provide alternative solutions

     Identify key M&A targets and manage potential acquisitions

     Identify missing products and help source locally or abroad

 

Sales Management

     Maintain the relationship with key customers and MNCs in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan & Philippines

     Hire, train and coach our local sales team.

     Set annual sales budgets and monitor sales progress on a monthly basis.

     Responsible for achieving annual budgets and EBITDA requirements

     Maintain communication with Financial Controller to monitor and evaluate sales progress and P&L figures

     Maintain communication with Supply Chain Management to evaluate the order forecast accuracy 

 

Business Development

     Perform a continuous analysis of the markets.

     Visit potential new customers and other stakeholders

     Develop new segments, especially retail / office space

     Perform regular Pricing Excellence Reviews 

Requirements:

Requirements

     Fluent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), strong written and verbal communication skills.

     Good understanding of the building material market and selling process.

     An engaging personality and the ability to communicate to a variety of personalities at all levels.

     Aggressive selling skills, high energy level, focus and determination.

     An entrepreneur personality.

     Good understanding / experience of the flooring industry in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan & Philippines is a plus
