Introduction:

Our client is looking for a high caliber Resident Engineer to join her prosperous team.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out the site supervision and management functions under the Registered Structural Engineers stream as outlined in the Code of Practice for Site Supervision and Technical Memorandum for Supervision Plans issued by the Buildings Department
• Coordinate with design consultants and construction contractors to ensure that programme and budget requirements are met
• Ensuring that project requirements are incorporated into detailed design, works contract drawings and specifications effectively
• Proactively identifying design and construction interface problems, investigating alternatives with designers and contractors and liaising with project stakeholders to provide effective solutions
• Review and comment on contractors technical submission related to construction method statement, temporary work design, project planning, construction program, test report and material submission, also the monitoring of safety, quality, construction as well as financial aspects of the relevant works

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master in CVL/Structural/GEO engineering -
• 5 years or above of experience in supervision or design of foundation and site formation work
• MHKIE Chartered
