Japanese Speaking Procurement Supervisor, MNC, Consumer Electronics in Mongkok, Kowloon, Hong Kong

Introduction:
A fortune 100 co. in development and production of consumer electronics gadgets and industrial products is hiring to join their procurement team.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies and develops a network of suppliers capable of meeting the company’s requirement
- Liaise with both customers and suppliers for favourable terms and long-term contracts. Follow up on quotation
- Reviews operational issues and recommend strategies for price rationalization, quality improvements and process efficiencies
- Supervises subordinates and provide solutions to operational issues to ensure efficient delivery of materials
- Participates in ad hoc operation and compliance projects
Requirements:
- Diploma or above relevant disciplines
- 3 years of experience in trading or purchasing of electronic parts or materials
- Experience in system enhancement/development projects is an advantage
- Solid experience in dealing with suppliers in China and Southeast Asia
- English and Cantonese as well as Japanese
- Good logical thinking & analytical mind
