Introduction:
Our client, a fast growing end to end IT Infrastructure Solution Provider in Hong Kong is urgently seeking a candidate for the position of Field System and Network Engineer.
Responsibilities:
The engineers need to support the customers day to day requirements by visiting customer locations or data centers. Engineers required to work according to the schedules and task assigned.
• Rack and Stack various IT equipment’s in Data Center and customer locations
• Configure the basic networking in switches
• Configure the basic server parameters
• Knowledge in fibre patch cables and cable patch cables
• Good knowledge Servers and Network equipment types
• Good desktop support experience
• Leased line circuit delivery by installing CPE and testing
Requirements:
• Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent; any IT or Project Management certification will be advantageous
• Preferably with experience specializing in IT/Computer- network, systems, database administration; IT/Computer
• Good interpersonal prioritization and communication skills with fluency in English. Cantonese is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills with amicable customer service
• A self-motivator, team player and able to work independently
