Chief Accountant (Vietnam)

Introduction:
A leading player collaborating with global supply chains, offering a one-stop logistics service in returnable packaging, ecommerce services, media and print products for major brands with facilities spread across the Asia Pacific Rim.
This role will be base in Vietnam , HCM City
Responsibilities:
- Work with external auditors, Bankers, Lawyers and tax consulting agencies for all questions relating to audit, tax and business matters; Manage day to day accounting operation and accounting book closing;
- Prepare and ensure monthly and annual financial reporting in line with IFRS (for reporting to HQ) and VAS (for Local statutory);
- Prepare and monitor tax filing (VAT, WHT, VIT, PIT) reconciliation with tax office;
- Be the focal point to work with government bodies, auditors, tax authorities on finance, accounting and tax matters;
- Ensure accounting/tax documents retention per company policy and in line with local accounting/tax requirements;
- Review and improve accounting and operating procedures with appropriate internal controls and measures;
- Manage & eliminate cash flow, payment, tax risk;
Requirements:
- Degree in accountancy
- At least 3 years of work experience
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting and SFRS
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on experience in NAVISION or ERP software would be an advantage
- Able to meet deadline.
