Senior Manager – Marketing Community Engagement

Introduction:

Our client, a large multinational food manufacturing company, is looking for a Senior Manager for Marketing Community Engagement. The job holder will not only play a crucial role in driving the growth and development of the company' s marketing community but also foster a sense of belonging. The role is instrumental in working with the Head of Global Marketing Community Engagement, various marketing, or functional teams to gain understanding and have clarity around the company's global marketing initiatives, enhance their capability, and have exposure to global and local best practices to support them in their work and growth journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement: Develop and execute community engagement programs that align with the global marketing strategy to promote collaboration, innovation, and consistency across the organization.
  • Content & Channel Creation: Create captivating internal community content to enhance understanding of marketing. Establish effective communication channels to keep the global community updated and involved in the latest developments in the companys marketing function.
  • Capability Building: Support the marketing team in enhancing its capabilities by coordinating virtual and in-person events, including webinars, workshops, and meetups, to bring the community together and offer valuable resources.
  • Feedback Collection: Measure and analyze the communication programs effectiveness and the marketing communitys feedback to continuously improve user engagement and experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders and teams to communicate accurate and timely information.
  • Growth: Identify opportunities to grow and expand the community, such as 3rd party sharing, functional partner sharing, and senior leadership roundtables.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree holder in Marketing or Business Administration, MBA is a plus 
  • 7 to 10 years of working experience in sales/marketing and community/engagement experience in FMCG or food/beverage organizations
  • Proven track record and achievement as a Community/Engagement Manager or in a similar role
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication and storytelling skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Demonstrate ability to navigate complexity and drive program success 
  • Capable to handle ambiguity in a constantly changing and dynamic business environment 
  • Able to collaborate with members from cross-team, cross-zone, and cross-market to drive positive change 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive program success and think outside the box 
  • Possess a global perspective, be humble to learn and have an open mindset 
  • Strong organizational, and multitasking skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Solid experience in event planning, hosting, and facilitation 
  • Willing to travel
