Legal Counsel / Paralegal (China Law)
Introduction:
An international batteries, accumulators and batteries of simple and complex type design and manufacturer is seeking a senior and multidisciplinary lawyer for the above-mentioned position. Details are as followings:
Responsibilities:
- Within an international legal team, handle various kinds of legal issues in Asia Pacific region especially PRC
- Drafting and negotiation of sales contracts, particularly for complex projects in energy storage and purchase contracts
- Contractual activity involves working with group employees and with international customers and suppliers
- Monitoring of claims, pre-litigation and litigation cases
- Follow-up of corporate matters related to a Chinese Joint-Venture based in PRC together with teams of experts
- Handle the matters of economic sanctions, competition law and compliance
- International mergers & acquisitions operations
Requirements:
- HK or Overseas Qualified Lawyer
- 5 years of China Law experience in multi-national company is preferred
- Less experience will also be considered as Paralegal
- Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
