Introduction:

My client, a sizable fast growing cosmetic & skincare manufacturer in Hong Kong and Southern China, with spreading markets to North America, Europe and Greater China exceeding a sales revenue of multi-million USD, is now looking for above position urgently.

Responsibilities:

• Support technical team members and cross-function sales teams with clients' product technical recommendations, requirements (i.e., testing, efficacy, reports), and feasibility.
• Coordinate with Sales teams and their clients with formulation inquiry and lead technical team with R&D requests to create sample via PLM
• Advise client and sales teams on the best approach and practices for product technical of primary packaging and formulations.
• Attend customers project briefing meeting to understand each project from project initiation and lead the technical team with execution plan
• Work with Business Development Team on presale preparation for potential high-value clients
• Recommend specific formulation with primary packaging technical to win the bid order from a new client base on sales lead data
• Follow client's best alternative to negotiation brief to suggest acceptable pricing and quality of formulation and packaging
• Support Business Development team in preparing a yearly updated innovation product pitch set of the company's core competence products
• Regularly communicating and requesting technical support from R&D, QC as well as Purchasing/Sourcing department for product specs and information, and maintain a close connection with departments
• Understand all technical regulations of the different market and continuously build our knowledge library via our filing system and be able to reply to clients immediately if needed
• Lead team to coordinate with testing lab for test quotation, sample submission, invoice handling.
• Build relationships with 3rd party labs or any counterparties that can add value to the company's technical core competence
• Lead team to prepare and check technical file (PIF) to fulfil regulatory requirements of specific market
• Lead team to project manage all legal compliance documentation with internal departments or external third parties

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree holder or above in Chemistry or other related subjects
• At least 5 years of experience working in testing lab or cosmetics product technical environment
• Good knowledge and experience with packaging and formulation regulation
• Willing to travel to China
• Good language skills (Cantonese, English & Mandarin)
