Our client due to expanding , they are hiring experienced Product Manager to grow their hospitality segment for their technology solutions. Passionate about building products that enhance the guest experience in the hotel industry. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that deliver the companys vision and strategy for the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a keen attention to detail, contributing to a global product that directly impacts the companys profitability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Gain a deep understanding of the hotel guest experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve guest satisfaction, and drive growth within the hospitality industry.
Analyze customer needs and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and emerging trends, ensuring alignment with organization's strategic objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, specifications, and value propositions. Develop and present business cases to justify new product investments.
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners in the hotel sector.
Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; and costing special and customized services for hotels.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes tailored to the hotel industry.
Scope and prioritize activities based on business and guest impact in the hotel sector.
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources, specifically for hotel-related products.
Drive product launches including working with other product team members, sales teams, and marketing teams focused on the hospitality market.
Evaluate promotional plans to ensure they are consistent with the product line strategy for hotels and that the message is effectively conveyed to the hospitality audience.
Assess market competition by comparing the company's hotel-related products to competitors' offerings.
Support presales engagement with hotel groups for adoption of services.
To qualify for this role, you have diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Proven work experience in product management within the hotel or hospitality industry offering technology solutions to enhance their staying guest experience
A minimum of 6 years in product management, preferably within hotel, service apartments sectors.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management in B2B technical products.
A strong understanding of regulatory changes and their implications for product design.
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle in the hotel sector.
Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management in the hotel industry. Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies related to the hospitality market.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done in a hotel environment.
Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, specifically within the hotel sector.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on the hospitality industry.
