Introduction:

Our client, a sizable legal organization is urgently searching candidates for the positions of Member Services Officer or Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• To arrange and participate in meetings of committees and working parties; draft agenda, papers and minutes and perform work incidental thereto;
• To prepare budgets, reports and proposals;
• To organize functions, activities and seminars/webinars;
• To work with external parties including PR agencies and other service providers;
• To assist in initiatives and projects identified and/or relevant to the Department (including IT related projects);
• To assist in the implementation and operation of government funding schemes for the benefit of the profession/members;
• To handle phone calls from members and public; and
• To assist the Department in providing services to and advancing interests of its members.

Requirements:

• A degree holder with at least 4 years' experience in event management;
• Additional experience in customer service is an advantage;
• Independent and a good team player; strong communication skills and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office and Chinese Word Processing;
• Travelling may be required; and
• Immediate availability is preferred.
