Introduction:

Our client, a well-established Interior Design Company (MNC) is looking for the above-mentioned position. Details are as followings:

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of project accounting activities-ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timelines of financial reporting. Proactively support project teams by strengthening the project accounting processes and leveraging AI-powered analytics to provide valuable insights for decision-making.

• Develop and manage a global compliance plan covering financial reports, foreign tax estimates, and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to assess current accounting workflows, identify opportunities for automation, and implement AI-enabled enhancements that improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Demonstrate initiative in proposing process improvements and driving positive change.

• Partner with internal teams, overseas offices, auditors, and external advisors to ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations. Lead efforts to establish and maintain effective internal controls.

• Support multi-currency cash management, planning, and repatriation strategies to optimize global fund utilization.

• Ad Hoc Projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. 

• Qualified accountant with a background in audit, tax, and commercial finance.

• Fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.

• Minimum 6 years of progressive Project Accounting and Global Tax experience in multi-national company. 

• Strong in tax matters such as withholding tax and transfer pricing is an advantage.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and online systems. Strong knowledge of IFRS and multi-currency management.

• Proactive and well-organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable — with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
