Introduction:

Representing our client, in the logistics sector, they are looking for a high calibre to fill up the above position.

Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Set clear objectives and performance expectations for team members, conducting regular performance evaluations, and providing constructive feedback.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, department heads, and external partners.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and ensure that IT development initiatives support the achievement of strategic objectives.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and solicit feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Promote professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and expertise.

Work closely with senior management to develop and implement an IT development strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact on the business, and making recommendations for adoption or integration.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the IT development team, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT development projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives, and establish project priorities based on business needs.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines, with at least 7 years relevant working experience.

At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role with experiences in team management of development teams (internal and external), such as IT Developers and Business Analysts.

Experience with being deeply involved in implementing and managing ERP systems or similar kind of eCommerce logistic systems.

Certification in PMP, ITIL, PMI or any IT professional certification will be an advantage.

Strong stakeholder management to form close working relations with senior IT stakeholders in the company.

Ability to successfully run an IT project complete with deliverables following PMO project structure.

Ability to execute on strategic plans, deliver work that adds value by contributing to the growth of the business, and provide improvement measures to management.

Strong communication skills that confidently delivers consistent and clear messaging to diverse audiences.

Ability to pivot and refocus deliverables in the face of setbacks and translate ambiguity to action.

Good command of written and spoken English; Cantonese and Mandarin is an advantage.
