Human Resources Manager

Introduction:

Our client, a leading supplier of specialty chemicals in Asia, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all HR tasks for APAC countries.
  • Create strategies to hire, develop, and keep talent, and adapt to changes.
  • Oversee the performance review system to support talent management.
  • Handle daily C&B tasks like payroll, leave records, pensions, insurance, taxes, and staff benefits.
  • Keep employee data accurate and up-to-date in the HR system and files.
  • Update and apply HR policies and procedures according to company rules.
  • Gather data for monthly HR reports, annual salary reviews, performance reviews, and insurance renewals.
  • Work on special HR projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or business-related disciplines. 
  • At least 8 years of all rounded HR experiences with sizeable multi-national companies.
  • Hands on, well organized and able to handle multi-tasks simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience in compensation & benefits area and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable to changes and able to work with people at all levels with different cultures.
  • A good team player with strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. 
  • Proactive, detail-minded and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese as well as Mandarin
