Introduction:

Our client is one if the largest and establish Japanese financial service solutions , base in Tokyo , our esteemed Japanese financial institution is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager (Mandarin Speaker) to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in upholding the integrity of our financial operations and contributing to strategic decision-making. We are looking for a professional with a strong command of financial principles and a keen eye for accuracy, who can thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Financial Stewardship & Record Management:

Meticulously maintain comprehensive and precise financial records, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring data integrity and accuracy through diligent reconciliation and transaction verification.


Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and present insightful financial statements, reports, and budgets for management and regulatory authorities. Conduct thorough financial and variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement, offering actionable recommendations to leadership.


Compliance & Audit Support:

Ensure strict adherence to relevant tax regulations, including GST, and reporting requirements. Provide robust support during financial audits by preparing essential documentation and expertly addressing auditor inquiries.


Expense Management:

Oversee and track company expenditures, ensuring full compliance with budgetary guidelines and internal expense policies. Efficiently review and process employee expense reports, meticulously verifying all receipts and supporting documentation.


Strategic Contribution:

Actively participate in special financial projects and initiatives as directed by management, and promptly fulfill ad-hoc requests for financial information or analysis with precision.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is essential.

Professional certifications such as CPA or CA (Chartered Accountant) are highly regarded and will be a significant advantage.

A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, demonstrating a profound understanding of financial principles, practices, and reporting standards.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, alongside experience with widely used accounting software. Familiarity with global financial reporting standards and regulations is crucial.

Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering accuracy in financial record-keeping and analysis are paramount.

Superior organizational and time management skills are necessary to effectively prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines within a demanding operational environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for effectively conveying complex financial information to diverse stakeholders, including those without a financial background. The ability to collaborate seamlessly within a team to achieve departmental objectives is also key.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement to facilitate effective communication with our stakeholders in key markets.
