Introduction:

• Seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about working in Emerging Markets fixed income investment team supporting the portfolio manager. • The position entails macro/market analysis, portfolio maintenance and analytics responsibilities to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the portfolio manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct macro analysis for emerging market countries, develop investment recommendations related to emerging markets fixed income investments.
2. Work with portfolio manager to efficiently manage bond and derivative positions;
3. Use fixed income analytics tools to analyze portfolios;
4. EM debt portfolio risk monitoring;
5. Develop and maintain EM macro and markets monitors;
6. Collect market color and dynamics and timely share with the team;
7. Prepare portfolio performance/attribution reports for PM;

Requirements:

1. Holder of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from top-tier universities;
2. 2-3 years of relevant industry experience in fixed income and derivative analytics;
3. Familiar with pricing, risk parameter calculation, P&L calculation of local market FX and rates instruments;
4. Familiar with portfolio management system (e.g. Bloomberg PORT/AIM system);
5. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills;
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
7. Ability to multi-task and prioritize, close attention to detail;
8. Demonstrate the capacity to work in a team environment, on collective success;
9. Proficiency in Excel, Python/R, and other data analytics tool;
10. Fluency in both English and Mandarin (speaking and writing);
