Introduction:

Our client a telecommunications provider, with a large and fast growth trajectory in the HK and global markets, is currently looking for a competent and experienced Business/Data Analyst that is capable of conducting analysis to assist in improvement of marketing methods to further grow business internationally.

Responsibilities:

Objective: To lead the analytics function, manage a team of data analysts, and leverage data to drive high performance and quality in a fast-growing telecommunications startup selling SIM and e-SIM cards internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business needs and objectives to align the analytics strategy with company goals1.
• Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and operational efficiency1.
• Define company-wide metrics and relevant data sources to ensure consistent and accurate data measurement across the organization1.
• Select, configure, and implement analytics solutions that cater to the dynamic needs of the telecommunications industry1.
• Lead and develop a team of data analysts to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making1.
• Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure the quality of data and reports1.

This role is pivotal in shaping the companys future by harnessing the power of data to gain a competitive edge in the telecommunications industry.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Analytics Manager or Data Scientist, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
• Strong background in data analysis and reporting; experience with industry-specific analytics is a plus.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Excel, R, SQL, and familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau, SAS.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management, or a related field.
