Introduction:

Our client is a well-established and leading manufacturer of consumer electrical and electronics products with highly integrated production facilities in China. Currently our client is inviting a seasoned and experienced individual to join the integral team to bring in operational excellence by driving transformation and building capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Based in Hong Kong, the incumbent will be reporting to the Chairman and oversee the entire manufacturing operations in China and collaborate closely with the CEO on a daily basis to lead the multi businesses with responsibility of planning, organization and directing the multi-site operations.  In addition, the role shall optimize the manufacturing costs through effective utilization of investment on labor, equipment, facilities and material.  Implement the industrial best practices, policies, process and procedures to improve the business performance.   Ensure NPIs and manufacturing production can meet the business objectives with the highest quality standards and deliveries.  Control WIP and direct the production plan including forecasts, budget, raw material and components to improve the overall efficiency.  Report the manufacturing activities and refer to the financial data to communicate the key performance indicators and areas for improvement to the Chairman and the core committee on a regular basis.     

Requirements:

To succeed, applicants should obtain over 20 years of a proven record of success in a complex electronics/electrical ODM/OEM and EMS manufacturing environment with operations management experience and an in-depth understanding of ISO, lean manufacturing and six sigma.  An MBA holder who can communicate vision and motivate the entire operations with high ability to drive for transformational changes.
