Introduction:

Our client, one of leading providers of technology driven maritime solutions for ship owners, is now looking for a high calibre for the position of Boarding Officer joining its Hong Kong office.

Responsibilities:

• Attends all vessels, including international cruises in Hong Kong and southern China in order to ensure that they are in compliance with all pre-arrival and departure formalities.
• Supervises and coordinates with sub-contractors, consignees/surveyors or other local parties related to vessel/cargo operations, bunkering, crew change, crew medical assistance, spare parts shipment/delivery Cash-To-Master.
• Compiles and submits port disbursement account to Principals/Owners for reimbursement.
• Reports timely the work progress to Principals/Owners/Management of the company.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years related shore-based experiences in Shipping/ Operation fields
• General knowledge in the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinance
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Customer focus, good interpersonal and negotiating skills
• Computer literate with emphasis on MS Office and Excels
