Overall in charge of the QA function: You have the ultimate responsibility for the Quality Assurance function across the company.
Responsible for quality control: Ensuring quality control of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
Setting quality standards: Assisting the Head of Production in establishing and maintaining quality standards to ensure production meets company specifications.
Establishing and maintaining QMS: Developing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), including documentation, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
Inter-department support: Collaborating with other departments on quality-related matters to ensure coherence and compliance.
Leading the QA Task Force: Overseeing a QA Task Force to investigate product non-compliances and drive improvements in product quality.
Equipment maintenance: Overseeing the maintenance and calibration of QA equipment and machinery.
Monitoring process parameters: Evaluating records of monitoring or process operation parameters to maintain consistency and quality.
Material failure review: Initiating reviews of material failures and overseeing decisions on disposal.
Handling out-of-specification products: Reviewing out-of-specification product parameters and authorizing fit-for-purpose decisions.
Preventing nonconformities: Initiating actions to prevent the occurrence of product nonconformities.
Managing product quality problems: Identifying, recording, and addressing product quality problems as they arise.
Workplace safety: Ensuring workplace safety, security, and adherence to 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
QEHS Responsibility:
Implementing and adhering to the Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System (QEHS) based on ISO and OHSAS standards, as well as complying with applicable legal requirements and other standards.
