Actuarial Analyst
Introduction:
Our client, a leading Reinsurance Broker is looking for a high caliber candidate to fulfill the above mentioned position. Details are as follows:
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior analytics professionals in delivering actuarial and financial modelling consulting services to external clients (i.e. insurance companies or reinsurers) and internal clients
- Assist in developing internal actuarial tools to streamline the analysis process
- Interpret and analyze client underwriting information to assist brokers in marketing and evaluating reinsurance programs
- Interpret clients’ catastrophe modelling results and provide advice on catastrophe risk management
- Design, price and evaluate reinsurance structures from an actuarial perspective
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- 12 months salary + discretionary bonus
- 18 days annual leave
- Medical insurance coverage
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field such as Mathematics or Statistics
- Complete the basic education requirement under Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) examination system is preferred
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, both verbally and written
- 0-3 years of relevant working experience
- Analytical aptitude as demonstrated through academic experience or work assignments
- Proficient in statistical programming language such as R or SAS
