Assistant Supply Chain Manager

Introduction:
An international FMCG retailer is urgently seeking candidates for the role of Assistant Supply Chain Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead all levels of supply chain functions including Hong Kong and Macau market
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the whole operation flow is aligned
- Communication with Italy HQ and other regions’ supply chain team to coordinate orders and shipments to ensure timely product replenishment and smooth supply chain process
- Manage and monitoring 3PL warehouse performance and give precise instruction to the warehouse team for seasonal arrangement
- Keep trace on the product life cycle and maintain inventory health in terms of stock availability and stock shelf-life
- Implement storage condition monitoring, product inspection and other quality assurance
- Research and compare quotations and service of service providers, support decision making in selection of vendors
- Ordering and shipment arrangement of materials to support new shop openings
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies to optimize the total cost and service level
- Experience in leading API interface construction is preferable
Requirements:
- University graduate in Supply Chain/Logistics management-related disciplines
- 3-5 years of global logistics, local shipping or supply chain experience
- Good analytical and logical mind; able to work under pressure and be multi-tasked
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient computer literature and preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Previously working experience in 3PL service provider/ 3PL management is advantageous
- Immediately available is preferred
